Today is Mothers Day and I am so proud of the little girl that calls me Mommy. She has made me realize today that maybe I am doing something right as a Mom. That is one of the greatest feelings in the world.
Last night Mirra went shopping with my mom to get some groceries. As they were in line to check out Mirra says "Grandma, I need to get My Mom something for Mothers day."
Grandma says "what did you want to get her?"
"Flowers."
Grandma picked out a nice bouquet but Mirra picked out this one and said they were the ones for her mom. When she came home she was very excited to give them to me. She gave me a big hug and said "Mommy you are as beautiful as the sunshine so I bought these flowers for you. Do you like them Mommmy? I thought you would love them because they look like the sunshine and you are like the sunshine Mom."
I have the sweetest girl in the world. I love you Mirra. You are my sunshine too.
