Art City Days

On the second week in June every year is our city celebration. This year they had a childrens parade Early on Friday morning. Mirra, Landon (a cute little friend of hers) and Mason all went. I pushed Mason in the Stroller while the kids road their bikes. They were in heaven. They both thought they were so cute riding in a parade. They would wave at the grandmas on the sidelines and they had fun. After they got a ribbon and a popcicle. It was simple but fun for the kids.
Another thing we do that week is my Dad gets us up really early on Saturday morning and takes us up to watch the balloons launch. Mason loved it he thought that was the most amazing thing to watch the big balloons get filled up and go up. He kept yelling "fly, fly, fly." it was fun. Mirra was no so exited but she still loved to go.I really think she was more excited about the free balloon she got to take home. After it is tradition to go get breatfast at the fire station and go to the parade together. We have a lot of fun. Thanks Dad for giving us such great traditions.
