Neff Reunion in Arizona

One of my favorite places to go in the world is to visit my family in Arizona. Both of my parents were born and raised there and didn't move out here until after they got married. Most of my cousin, Aunts and Uncles on my moms side still live there. Some of my fondest memories are of visiting them. Now that I am grown I still love to see them and have so much fun while I am there. This visit was for the Neff family reunion. One of the more resent traditions, as in they started it last year, is while we are there we build a boat with things that you find at the campsite and then we race them and they are judged on how they are built. Jake and Mirra built a boat together and called it the Strawberry boat, named by Mirra. She took second place in her age group she had fun helping her daddy and she was so proud of her boat. Sadly I can't remember what award she won though. I am such a fabulous mom I know.

This is a picture of my cousin Julie's little boy. He and Mirra were friends immediately and had fun playing and exploring together.
Mason had a blast playing. He could almost go anywhere and had so many people that wanted to talk to him and walk around with him. He loved it but he was ready to go home when we left. This picture was taken when I was trying to get everything packed up and ready. He was standing by the car and he kept saying "Go, Go, Go." I'm not sure that he realized it was such a long trip home though. He does great in the car but he is definitely dine by the time we get home.

Mirra and Mason are growing up! Mason is adorable in that picture. Audrey talks about visiting Mirra, she really misses her girl cousins.
